In the article “India Courts Foreign Legal Work,” the Asia Times Online posits that Indian outsourcing is climbing the value chain from low end call center work to upscale sophisticated legal outsourcing services.

 

The latest wave in outsourcing, legal outsourcing, combines high-speed technology with English-speaking lawyers to save Western companies millions of dollars a year. With U.S. law firms and corporations spending billions of dollars on outsourceable work such as intellectual property services, legal support services and back office legal tasks, legal outsourcing stands to become a big market for India.
