According to David, companies are seeking outsourced services based on its low cost offerings however at the time of selecting a firm, the primary driver is quality. Indeed David’s words echo the theme of this article. In order for India to maintain its dominance of the global outsourcing industry it must create a work force of skilled employees to support the types of services that will be outsourced in the future. Increased sophistication of the service offerings will enable India to achieve dominance over newly emerging outsourcing outposts in Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America.
