Early discussions at ILTA “Rev-Elation,” including Kevin Colangelo of Pangea3
The discussions at the ILTA 2011 conference are reinforcing a powerful message: the most successful firms of tomorrow will be those that test new strategies and tools today. Kevin Colangelo of Pangea3 discussed how legal process outsourcing can be used by law firms to gain competitive advantage, freeing them to focus on mission-critical functions such as strengthening client relationships and innovating new ways to better serve clients. Chris Trimble of Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business recommended firms take a deliberate approach to innovation, calling for dedicated teams committed to both ideation and incremental improvements that increase efficiency. And a session on “future-proofing” firms covered a variety of new challenges, including the ever-increasing access to information and the growing demand for workforce mobility.
“Rev-Elation” continues through August 25, promising plenty of further insight and debate. Follow along via Twitter using the #ILTA11 hashtag, and check back with us here and on Twitter @Pangea3.
